Three Who Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

We are alive, but we are not living.  This coronavirus hysteria is getting out of hand.  It makes no sense whatsoever.  We are told that we can take our masks off when we eat.  If there is a virus, we should not be able to eat outside our homes because the virus will get inside of us with our masks off.  Now I hear that pets can contract the coronavirus.  It appears that the powers that be do not want us to have pets that are good for our mental and physical health.  Now it is reported that the coronavirus stays on cell phones for up to one month.  Before you know it, we won't be allowed to use our cell phones.  People need to be around animals, plants, and other people.  We also need to interact with other people...those related to us and not related to us.  Kobe, Randy, and I enjoy each other's company, but we also need to be around other people.  It's great that we have our four dogs...they protect us and keep us sane.  It is also a great feeling that our home and property get better, looking all the time.

Our hot tub is being repaired.  It will be up and running by this Friday, October 16th.  The pump in the hot tub is of much better quality.  Relaxing in our hot tub will be a great way to appreciate the nature around us.  Near our hot tub and all over our property, we have more plants and trees.  Not only flowers but plants that grow food such as our blackberry plants, avocado trees, cherimoya trees, uvilla plants, lemon trees, etc.  Our garden in our backyard is growing peas, radishes, lettuce, etc. We will have more aloe vera plants shortly.  Aloe vera is great for our skin, hair, and health.  We do have our own spring, so we have no water bill.   The goal is to be as self-sufficient as possible.  Nature is the reason why we are healthy and thriving.

We have lots of ornamental plants to make our property look pretty and inviting.

Cookie (girl) enjoys resting next to the scenic spot near our chicken coop.

Kobe (age 18) enjoys feeding our seven hens and one rooster, making sure they have enough water and collecting them.  Our hens average three a day (ninety eggs per month).

Our hot tub will be repaired in no time.

The pump (left) and calefón (right).  Our hot tub has the pump to keep the water flowing, and the calefón keeps the water like a warm bath.
