Activities

It's been exactly three months since I've blogged.  Mainly it's because nothing much has changed as far as the pandemic is concerned.  Thank goodness vaccines are still not mandatory.  Despite everything going on in the world, we are still enjoying life.  Our farm is coming along great.  Soon we will have livestock such as sheep, cows, pigs, fowl, etc.  Communities are being built on our farm with people we know and trust. This is a great way for us to watch out for each other.  Our house and land where we live have lots of trees, plant life, water, and trails.  Our farm also has a lot of freshwaters.  There is one activity we do on our farm one Sunday a month:  archery.

We chose archery because it's a sport that Kobe (age 19) enjoys.  Thanks to Michael Wanner of Cuenca, Azuay, Ecuador, we are getting more people who also enjoy archery.  Michael is an archery instructor.  Kobe is an excellent archer.  He's been doing archery since he was a preteen.  Randy doesn't do archery, but I do, and I also enjoy it.  We had an archery session on Sunday, April 18th.  The next session will be Sunday, May 16th.  We do archery in nearby Guachapala.  Our farm also has lemon and avocado trees.  Hiking is another activity done on our farm.  Living in a rural area has been very good for us.  Randy plays meaningful music on his guitar.  He is considering doing an open mike event in Cuenca shortly.  On this Earth Day, we will take care of nature just like we do every day.

I hit the target (balloons and a melon [sambo] many times).
