Medical Madness
I've been seeing articles on the Internet about how scientists are rushing to find a vaccine for COVID-19. This is NOT good! What scares me is that they may try to force everyone to accept the vaccine. At the very least, it should be voluntary and never mandatory. I would love to give my immune system a chance. These days it appears that the only time people are able to use their immune system is before birth. I hope the vaccine never gets developed. The last thing I want is to be forced to take a vaccine and be punished for not taking a vaccine. No one should be punished for not taking the vaccine for any reason. The ability to travel freely is much more important than a vaccine. When I am not thinking about the possibility of a mandatory vaccine, I am thinking about people who are suffering mentally and physically because of this pandemic which is science...fiction.
It hurts me to see people suffering needlessly from their businesses failing, losing their jobs, going insane because they have to stay inside 99% of the time, forced to live with someone that is not treating them well and they cannot escape (every type of abuse imaginable), children and teens in an abusive environment that is not their fault, etc. The list goes on and on. The slogan is "People before profit." Whoever came up with this slogan does not care about people. Lack of profit is destroying people. How are we supposed to keep the human race going if we cannot even be near each other? Too few people in the world are not good, either. Being forced to stay away from even family members who do not live with us is making our immune systems weaker, not stronger. If the vaccine doesn't kill us, our weakened immune systems and the inability to see our friends and loved ones ever again will. What keeps me sane is nature.
I enjoy exploring our five acres of property with the three of our four dogs. Micaiah explores our property on her own because she has a bad habit of killing any chickens and roosters she sees. The fresh air and exercise do me a lot of good. I also enjoy visiting the nearest large city to me (Cuenca). Grocery shopping and eating at a restaurant once a week is also enjoyable. Even when it is my idea of cold (as cold as the high 40s F at night), our place is still very pleasant. When I tell people to "stay safe", I am really telling them to stay safe from vaccines and another unnecessary lockdown (quarantine).
