A REALLY Big Show!
On the morning of Saturday, February 28th, I attended Belly Dancing rehearsal for the show that night at 8:00pm at Teatro Sucre in Cuenca (El Centro-Downtown).
Rehearsal was fun but we were out of sync with each other. At showtime, everything came together. The show was so much fun.
The performer was a famous man in Cuenca, Brian Gary. He played the keyboard and sang in English and Spanish. He also put on a great show.
Randy saw the show but had a hard time seeing me because I was in the back when I performed with my group. Overall, he also enjoyed the show. He tried to take photos during the show but the photos didn't show up in my digital camera.
Tickets were $6.00 per person. Worth the price. Performing was fun and I look forward to performing again. Next time also as a solo or duo act so people can see me a lot better.
Kobe went to a nearby tienda, bought two half liter bottles of his favorite lemonade, Vivant, for $1.00, and relaxed at home.
Belly Dance classes begin again on Wednesday morning.
May Kobe make it to Archery on Thursday afternoon.
I hope to try out Archery with the woman in my Belly Dancing class, Maria de Lourdes Cedillo of Cuenca on Tuesday morning. I explained to her the best way to try to convince Kobe to join the Archery team is to visit us at our apartment and have the coach and other kids on the team his age meet Kobe personally.
The Ecuadorians we've met are happy to hear that we plan on living in Ecuador for the rest of our lives.
