We (Kobe and I) Are Ecuadorian Citizens
It's 2020!
My New Year's Resolution is to NEVER slack off on blogging ever again.
We plan on creating a hostel so people can enjoy our beautiful property. The plan is to have the house we live in now become a hostel. Our new house will be higher up on our property. We are making our hostel become a reality.
I am a citizen of Ecuador and have been since October 26, 2018. Also, I am a citizen of the US (dual citizen). Kobe is also a dual citizen (Ecuador and US) and has been a citizen of Ecuador since May 26, 2019. Without our Facilitator, Monica Gonzaga, Ecuadorian Citizenship would not have been possible. Randy is a Permanent Resident of Ecuador. He has decided not to pursue Ecuadorian citizenship but I tell him to "never say never".
Kobe will be 18 years old on on March 19th. He is home schooled and a high school senior (12th grade). He will test for and receive his GED in the US (Colorado) May 2020. Colorado is where Kobe's aunt and uncle live (Randy's sister and brother-in-law) and one of the twenty-six states where Proof of Residency is not required. Kobe will be living in Japan beginning September 2020. If he is not accepted into the Kobe Institute of Computing (KIC) in Kobe, Japan, he can reapply later. He can attend a Japanese Language School until he is accepted into KIC or another trade school. We are helping Kobe obtain a Cultural Visa so he can attend language schools and trade schools in Japan. The Japanese Embassy is in Quito, Ecuador (capital). He wants to make Japan his home.
The language Kobe and I have been learning online through Live Lingua is Japanese. We have been learning Japanese since August 28, 2018. Our Teacher, Takashi Shicauchi, is does an excellent job of teaching us Japanese and is a good friend of ours. He lives near Tokyo, Japan.
I am looking forward to attending the Akita Inaka School in Kosaka, Akita, Japan October 2021. It is a new Japanese Language school. Courses are in four week increments. The objective is to learn Conversational Japanese and to have fun.
Facebook is the social media I use the most and is another good way to keep up with me, Randy, and Kobe.
I will, from now on, Blog at least once a week.

This is me. Yes, I am ALWAYS taking selfies. I'm 56 years old.
This is Kobe. He is 17 years old. Kobe is 6'4" and around 150 pounds. Tall, slender, handsome. It's nice to see him smile since he doesn't smile often in pictures.
My handsome husband, Randy. He is 69 years old. Here he is with Lucky (Boy) (left) and Lucy (Girl) (right). Cookie (girl) is under Lucky.
Here is Micaiah (Girl). She is on the road near our house.
