Archery, Blowdarts, and Slingshots

No Spanish class for me, Randy, or Kobe.

Kobe and I had our first Archery class with Michael Wanner who is originally from Canada.

We learned how to shoot bows and arrows, darts and marbles with slingshots.  It was a lot of fun and we look forward to doing this every week.

The lessons were at Michael's house in Cuenca.  He made a room in the house into a game room.

He also has large arrows for outdoor shooting.

Michael is married to an Afro-Ecuadorian women, Marlene Nazareno.  They have children but no children together.  He will apply for Residency and he is not sure about becoming a Citizen of Ecuador in the future.

Randy did take me out to lunch at a Chilean restaurant, La Villa del Cobil, in Cuenca.  No pictures but he had his usual Carne Empanada and I had a Chicken Empanada.  The Shrimp Empanadas are popular and often they are not available.  We also had fresh orange juice.    The Empanadas are baked.

No pictures but I went to my Belly Dancing class in Cuenca.  We are rehearsing of a show for Saturday night, February 28th.

Randy is interested in Michael's guitars because Randy likes playing guitar.

Ecuador...it feels right.
